Tammy Lynett Irons, age 55, passed away peacefully, leaving behind a legacy of love, devotion, and cherished memories. She was born on August 18, 1970, to the late Noble Lewis and her loving mother, Mae Jewell Gillard, who survives her.
Tammy dedicated many years of her life serving others as a compassionate Certified Nursing Assistant at Adamsville Health Care. Her work reflected her caring spirit and her deep commitment to helping those in need.
Outside of her profession, Tammy found her greatest joy in the simple and meaningful moments of life. She loved spending time with her grandchildren, especially watching her grandson play soccer. She enjoyed talking on the phone with family and friends, watching General Hospital, attending family gatherings, and sitting outside sharing conversations with her neighbors. Tammy’s warmth and kindness left a lasting impression on everyone who knew her.
She is lovingly remembered by her mother, Mae Jewell Gillard; her son, Corey Irons; her beloved grandchildren, Nevaeh Irons and Owen Irons; her brother, James Gillard; her sister, Yvette Gillard; her aunts, Carolyn Wilson and Geneva Scurry; and a host of cousins and extended family members.
Visitation will be held at Associated Family Funeral Home on Saturday, May 2nd, from 11:00 a.m. until 1:00 p.m., with funeral services to follow at 1:00 p.m. Interment will take place at St. Rest Cemetery.
Tammy will be deeply missed and forever remembered for her loving heart, her laughter, and the special bond she shared with her family and friends.
