Timothy Wayne Martin

Timothy Wayne “Moose” Martin, age 52, of Bethel Springs, passed away on July 2, 2025, after a sudden illness. He was born on January 12, 1973, to James Martin and Hazel Bendall Martin.

Known to many as “Moose,” Timothy had a gift for working on cars and could often be found under the hood of a vehicle, always willing to help someone in need. He loved spending time with his great-nephews, his family, and his friends. A longtime fan of the classic TV series MASH*, he found joy in its humor and heart.

He is survived by his loving wife, Dolly Wright Martin, and his son, Daniel Wright, both of Bethel Springs; his brothers, Randy Martin (Wanda) of Bethel Springs and Johnny Martin (Kim) of Peru, Indiana; his sisters, Vickie Trice of Henderson and Janet Butler of Bethel Springs; along with a host of nieces, nephews, and extended family members who loved him dearly.

He was preceded in death by his brothers, Jim Martin, Terry Martin, and Wayne Martin, and his sister, Carolyn Martin.
