W.C. Pickett, 84, passed away at his home in Henderson, Tennessee, on May 24, 2026.
Born on April 20, 1942, to Willie T. and Clara Pickett, W.C. spent his life doing what he loved most — farming. He was a hardworking man who enjoyed being outdoors, whether he was in the fields, out fishing, working in his garden, or spending time with his grandchildren and his dogs.
W.C. loved the farming life and took pride in the work he did every day. He enjoyed the peace and quiet of being outdoors and especially loved time spent fishing, gardening, and caring for his dogs. More than anything, he loved his family and enjoyed spending time with them whenever he could.
He is survived by his sons, Daniel Pickett and wife Jessica, David Hale and wife Shelley, and Billy Hale and wife Renee; and his grandchildren, Jayden and Isabella.
He was preceded in death by his parents Willie T. Pickett and Clara Pickett; his wife Mary Ann Pickett and his daughter, Amy Prentiss.
