Walter Carl Borman

Walter Carl Borman, Jr., was born in Gary, Indiana, on June 6, 1938, to the late Walter Carl Borman, Sr. and Cordelia Wildermuth Borman. He departed this life peacefully on February 19, 2026, at Madison County Hospital in Jackson, Tennessee.

Walter was a retired steel worker who took great pride in his work. He was a member of Center Hill Baptist Church and enjoyed the simple pleasures of life, especially spending time in his garden and fishing.

He is survived by his loving wife of sixty-one years, Syble June Borman; his daughter, Sandra June Borman; three siblings; three grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his son, Timothy Carl Borman, and four siblings.

A memorial service celebrating Walter’s life will be announced at a later date.
