Woody E. Woelfle, 59, passed away peacefully at his home on Saturday, May 2, 2026.
Woody was a devoted husband, a loving father, and a proud grandfather. He cherished his family and found his greatest joy in spending time with them. He is survived by his wife, Karen Haney Woelfle of Adamsville, Tennessee; daughter, Edie Allison Woelfle and her husband, Alex Harman of Bethlehem, Georgia; son, Thomas William Woelfle and his wife, Hannah Grace along with his grandchildren, Walker William and Addison Anne of Springfield, Tennessee; his mother, Joyce Woelfle and his sister Patty Woelfle of Braden, Tennessee. He was preceded in death by his father, William W. Woelfle.
Woody had a love for football and was a dedicated fan of the Pittsburgh Steelers. He enjoyed the outdoors, working on his farm and a love for all animals especially those on the side of the road. He also loved to travel especially cruising. His career in sales reflected his strong work ethic and his ability to connect with others.
A service to honor and celebrate Woody’s life will be held on Saturday, May 9, 2026, at 1:00 p.m. at Living Word Church, 35994 Tennessee 104, Sardis, Tennessee, with a meal to follow. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made in his memory to Horse Creek Wildlife Sanctuary 13780 Highway 69, Savannah Tn 731-926-4008.
Woody will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved him, but his memory will live in the hearts of his family and friends.
